The Daily Hiccup

Max and Ollie are 3 years old and they could not be any cuter!  I'm sure all parents feel the same way about their children.  I can't seem to get enough!  They bring such joy and so much happiness into my life.  What WAS my life all about before they came along?.  Grandma (from California) sent the boys homemade cupcakes w/ icing (in a seperate container) and fantastically yummy chocolate chip cookies.  Max and Ollie are completely addicted - and yet they know they can only have the goodies AFTER a nice dinner.  ;)  They're such good boys.  My question is ... am I addicted to my boys ... kinda like they're addiction to grandma's home baked cookies and cupcakes?  Oh well, it doesn't matter... all that matters is that tomorrow is another day of sweet boys and yummy cupcakes. 

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better - we had another first and it was absolutely insane!  (in a good way) 

 

Halloween 2005 - huge hit! 

 

Max was the Incredible Hulk and Oliver was Spiderman.  I really wasn't sure how well they'd hold up in their costumes but they kicked it into high gear for their mom and the pictures are the proof.  They also braved our first power outage - which only added to the night's creepiness.  :) 

 

It was a blast - and a night - once again, that I shall not forget.  I'm sure most parents feel this way about their families, especially their children - but it's a very new feeling for me and an experience worth sharing with friends who might be reading this. 

 

Please bare with me and please forgive my over-doneness on the whole, "i love my kids thing."  I'm sure once they bring me their first bug collection - I will be singing a different tune, but for now - all they do is make me smile, fill my heart with purpose and make each day better than the next. 

 

 

Added new pics to the photo album.  Hard to believe that Max and Oliver are only a few days away from turning ONE!  Even tougher to remember what life was like before these guys arrived.  So far - all of their "first" milestones have been incredible from rolling over for the first time to saying "mama" and "dada" for the first time - it's been a fantastic year!
